During this interactive event, we will delve into the topics that matter to you the most: 

  • Discover what our students truly think about their online courses. 
  • Learn how our courses can propel your career forward. 
  • Gain valuable advice on time management as a part-time student. 
  • Ask your burning questions and receive real-time answers.

In this session, our panel will be talking through the application process for our online courses and sharing their top tips on what makes an application truly stand out. 
 

Join Programme Directors Dr Patrick Marshall and Dr Chris Westoby alongside one of our experiences course advisors, as they discuss what they’re looking for from you In addition to answering your questions, they’ll be key topics on the subject, such as: 

  • How to write a powerful application 
  • How your application will be assessed 
  • Writing your personal statements  
  • What our course leaders are looking for 
  • Academic referencing and what’s expected

MSc Engineering Management

Dr Angeliki Papasava SFHEA, is an academic and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in teaching Management related courses at various university levels both face-to-face and online, at a number of European, Asian, African and American institutions. She has completed a PhD at the International School of Management, started her own companies and worked for ICT multinationals. Her teaching and managerial roles include dissertation supervision, responsibility for curriculum development and partnership initiatives with a number of universities.

Course Director

MA Creative Writing

Chris obtained his PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Hull. His debut nonfiction book, The Fear Talking, was published in 2020. Chris lectures in Creative Writing, guest lectures in subjects of mental health, teaches reflective writing to Mental Health Nursing Students, and runs PhD and cross-faculty writing workshops.

He applies Creative Writing techniques in research projects on hoarding, bereavement and gendered barriers.
