MSc Healthcare Leadership


Dr Patrick Marshall is the Programme Director for the MSc in Healthcare Leadership at the University of Hull. As well as teaching on a wide range of university courses, he also runs bespoke management training sessions for NHS Trust healthcare professionals. His doctoral research (now a book) draws on over 30 years
of teaching and senior leadership roles in secondary schools, universities, and medical schools.  
Jayne Walker

MSc Healthcare Leadership

Jayne Walker began her career as a registered Adult Nurse in 1996, before progressing into Midwifery in 1999. Jayne's clinical practice then transitioned to becoming a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) in 2005.  

Jayne has an MSc in Health Studies (Leadership and Education). She works directly with student groups from all levels of academic study alongside external partners to ensure the training and study delivered is of a high standard. She also has extensive experience and knowledge of designing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating programmes of study.
